Resident Services

The Area Housing Authority is a non-profit Housing Authority that is committed to helping our Public Housing residents move toward self-sufficiency by providing service-enriched programs. In conjunction with social services agencies throughout Ventura County and the community at large, the Resident Services Department has established partnerships to provide programs for our residents. The majority of programs are self-supporting or funded through grants.

Resident Council
A key component to helping our residents is understanding their needs. The Resident Council acts a liaison between the Area Housing Authority and the residents to enhance the quality of life at our housing sites.

Resident Council meetings take place bi-monthly and meeting notifications are posted on our bulletin boards and in the community rooms. Meeting locations are rotated between different housing sites.
