Formerly the Palm Motel, the Area Housing Authority, in partnership with the County of Ventura, purchased this complex in 2003. This site was originally a motel which was illegally converted to apartments. Code violations along with significant health and safety issues were just some of the challenges the Area Housing Authority faced.
The property maintains affordability restrictions and units are limited to households at or below 50% of area median income.
